Seeds of Courage 1 Feature

  • Take One, Give One
  • Packaged with 2 duplicate CDs - one to give away and one to keep
  • Bible Scripture Memory
  • Great For The Whole Family
  • Perfect For Home Schooling.
We've taken inspiration from God's perfect plan for seeds dispersal and designed packaging intended to facilitate the spreading of Seeds. Each package of Seeds of Courage album includes two identical full-length CDs. So simply tear the CD cover in half and share a complete packaged album with a friend nearby or far away. You get to take part in spreading Seeds--helping take God's Word to as many homes as possible. Both parents and kids will love the music. The lyrics are God's own Word, straight from the NIV. It's the perfect way to sing, dance, and make a joyful noise unto the Lord, while planting His Word forever in your heart and mind. It's a Scripture-memory tool -- It's a CD full of fabulous music. It's both! Seeds combines songs that use Scripture for lyrics with strongly produced music that is varied in style to create a sound the whole family will love. Each song helps a child (and any adults in the vicinity) memorize one or more Bible verses from the NIV. This world can be a scary place, especially when you're growing up and learning about it all. Our tendency can be to shrink away, to run and hide. But God would have us live with courage and confidence - things we can experience only when we understand that God is on our side. The songs on Seeds of Courage bring verses of hope, confidence, and security that allow the child of God to be strong, bold, and courageous. Recommended for all ages.

Growing Up Well - Let's Get a Move On! A Kid's Video Guide to a Family Move

Growing Up Well - Let's Get a Move On! A Kid's Video Guide to a Family Move Review

Big changes raise big questions for kids, and moving to a new home easily ranks near the top of the list, especially with 4- to 10-year-olds. To help them cope with the inevitable, this 30-minute Parents' Choice honoree follows four children (each from a different family) through the entire process: "Getting the News," "Getting Ready," and "Getting a Move On." Hearing each child tell his or her own story (scripted but quite realistic) not only demystifies moving, it also allows young viewers to see other kids endure it--with positive results. Each subtopic receives quality attention: an original song full of thought-provoking lyrics; home-style footage of the four kids interacting with friends, family, neighbors, and pets; and lots of frank talk about their feelings (anger, confusion, excitement) and experiences (packing, saying goodbye, making new friends). Helpful suggestions for coping with sadness, loneliness, and doubt are included. Overall, the show serves as a gentle reminder that "houses and apartments are just buildings--but home is where my family is." --Liane Thomas

Popular Mechanics for Kids - Slither & Slime and Other Yucky Things

Popular Mechanics for Kids - Slither & Slime and Other Yucky Things Review

Popular Mechanics for Kids - Slither & Slime and Other Yucky Things Feature

  • This Popular Mechanics television series teaches kids about the science and technology that make the world a fun and interesting place. In these four episodes, hosts Jay, Elisha, Tyler, and Vanessa jump into creepy crawly sewers and piles of garbage in search of leeches, roaches, worms, and more! Format: DVD MOVIE Genre: CHILDREN Rating: NR Age: 741952623199 UPC: 741
Slither & Slime investigates the question all kids want to know, and makes it look like a grand adventure: Where does a toilet flush go exactly? Junior hosts Jay and Elisha conspire to find out, with the aid of New York City sewer personnel, by dropping green dye and a ping-pong ball down an ordinary toilet and watching these items progress through sewage and processing systems that ultimately release cleansed (if undrinkable) water back into natural destinations. But Slither & Slime is also about what else is below our feet: a glimpse at the giant water tunnel under construction 66 stories beneath New York (due for operation in 2025), the look of subway maintenance late at night, and how tunnel-boring machines ("moles") dug their way under the English Channel to create the British-French "Chunnel." Spectacular footage and wry humor make this a great way to see below the surface of things. --Tom Keogh This Popular Mechanics television series teaches kids about the science and technology that make the world a fun and interesting place. In these four episodes, hosts Jay, Elisha, Tyler, and Vanessa jump into creepy crawly sewers and piles of garbage in search of leeches, roaches, worms, and more!

The Easter Bunny Is Comin' to Town

The Easter Bunny Is Comin' to Town Review

The Easter Bunny Is Comin' to Town Feature

Brought to you by the same crew that wrote and directed the classic Santa Claus Is Coming to Town, this Easter staple will look and feel familiar to any eyes that watched the 1970s around holiday time. Writer Romeo Muller's done a wonderful job capturing simple lo-fi dialogue and action around the lovable early-spring bunny, weaving enough drama into the script to make the show comprehensible for kids and enjoyable for (most) adults. The production team makes their animation-verité visuals jerky enough that it feels still like their Santa juggernaut (created seven years earlier than this 1977 production). And narrator Fred Astaire returns to give the shell of the story its pleasant feel, not at all too threatening but neither too mushy or idiotic. Of course the production dynamics and sound are subpar in comparison with current techniques, but this isn't a film to watch with an eye for how with-the-times it could or should be. --Andrew Bartlett In Kidsville, youngsters make their own laws, run their own shops and maybe even stay up as late as they want. Each Spring, everyone - including Sunny the Bunny - pitches in to make Easter holiday goodies. Then it's the Bunny's job to take the painted eggs and yummy jellybeans to a nearby town called Town. But he better watch out. Because grouchy old Town doesn't allow kids or a hippity-hoppity Easter bunny! With a childlike sense of wonder, this perennial favorite shows how Sunny and his pals win over the meanies of Town by inventing many of our happiest, hoppiest Easter traditions!
